Can Gelat

A great spot for a relaxing holiday.

We had a great stay in this little holiday home with our two-year-old. They’d set up a separate travel cot, and while there wasn’t a highchair, we managed fine without one. There were even a few toys for children, including a sand shovel. I liked that the jacuzzi had a cover to keep the heat in when it wasn’t being used, so I didn’t have to worry about our child getting in unnoticed. The hot water stopped working once, but it was fixed right away without any hassle. Everything else was great. There were lots of mosquitoes, though that may have been because we visited at the end of September. At least there was a plug-in repellent in the bedroom, so that was fine.

A lovely small apartment for a holiday, just right for two. It’s got the essentials covered, from an electric hob to a dishwasher and washing machine. The road in is pretty potholed, though, so maybe leave the Ferrari at home. ^^

The outside has a pleasant charm, but inside it feels gloomy and cold. For what it costs, the comfort is pretty limited: the bedding is poor, the furniture feels cheap and basic, and the doors and windows don’t feel secure. There are ants all over the kitchen, too. A shame.
