The pool was clean and the outdoor space and views were wonderful. The location is fantastic. Inside, though, the villa feels worn. The living room is gorgeous, but the bedrooms need work. The showers are falling apart, the bed linen is threadbare, and the shower heads are full of bacteria. We were burgled during our stay and lost over 1000 euro. There isn't a safe in the villa. After we spent the afternoon at the police station, the owner told the police it had been burgled three weeks earlier, and that her own house had also been burgled. She hadn't mentioned any of this when we met her on our second day. At the police station she didn't even apologize, let alone offer to buy us dinner.
