Hoposa Pollentia - Adults Only

The beach is right in front of you, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to town and the shops. There’s live music every other day, and the hotel is for adults only, which is perfect for couples or a romantic getaway. The rooms are clean and neat, and the staff are professional, kind and very helpful. The service was excellent. This place is amazing, and I’ll definitely come back. I recommend it.

We booked a boat trip from the port, about a 15-minute walk up the road. The beach is just across the road, with a supermarket practically next door, and restaurants and shops a short walk away. Our group of 11 had a perfect long weekend at Hotel Pollentia. Reception were super friendly and helpful, and all the other staff were consistently friendly and polite with our group. The hotel was very clean, with modern decor. Breakfast had a great selection each morning, and it was easy to order drinks wherever we were. Would definitely recommend it, and we’d love to come back. We paid premium rates for the beach view and location, but most everything else was mediocre at best. Basic cleanliness and attention to detail were lacking: there was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived, and blood stains on comforters we took from the wardrobe. I also tried to order coffee on the rooftop, but was told the machine was broken, even though the property has several. The guests above us dragged furniture around through the night and early morning. We told the hotel about these problems. They did replace the blankets, but made no other effort to put things right or salvage our stay. The front desk gave a standard corporate response about passing the feedback to the manager and trying to improve. The tiny gym has cheap equipment and no airflow, and there’s room for only two or three people trying to work out. Breakfast was fine, but the vegetables, fruit and meat were low quality. Overpriced. Skip it, there are far better options.

I came at short notice for a few days at the end of October, when the area was pretty quiet, and loved it. The hotel and the whole staff were exceptionally friendly. Whatever I asked or needed, they were always kind and helpful. I felt really welcome and can highly recommend it. I’d come back any time.
