Mar Hotels Playa Mar & Spa

The spa was a real highlight, and it was lovely with or without the kids. Since the outdoor pool felt a bit cold in early May, we made good use of the indoor spa pool between 10am and 2pm. I was less impressed by the gym: it lacked decent equipment, and what was there needed servicing or replacing, though that did make the workout a bit more fun. Our room was basic but pleasant. Having the single beds pushed together is a very European quirk, both funny and annoying. The staff were all great, especially Freddy and Olga in the restaurant, and the entertainment team were just as good. Sami deserves a little recognition, though his ego probably doesn't need more ;-) Andrea and the FRAM reps were great too. We loved the hotel and will most likely come back.

We used this as a base for riding around Mallorca, and it worked really well. The room was large, clean and quiet, and both the pool and spa were great. Everything was well run. Angie and Freddie in the restaurant were friendly, attentive and professional. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and both visits were fantastic. It’s a truly relaxing place, with great staff and everything our family needs, from bikes and pools to food, drinks and fun.

A good choice if you want somewhere quieter, and it's especially popular with cyclists. Getting into the centre means a walk, but the route along the Pine waterfront path is very pleasant. The food has a good range of choices, the staff and hotel are great, and the place is wheelchair friendly.
