Villa Sa Sini

The pool wasn't cleaned while we were there, and the air-con overflow wasn't contained. It spilled from the balcony onto the grass by the pool, making it boggy and a place for mosquitoes to breed. We had to ask for clean towels, and the beds weren't changed. The villa was looking tired, with little jobs needing attention. A welcome pack would've been a nice touch.

The house worked really well for our family holiday, with small children and space for eight people. It's a short walk to the beach, while the busier, louder town centre is about ten minutes away. We had a very comfortable and memorable stay, despite spending two days going back and forth with the cleaning staff about a clogged shower and dishwasher, a bed that squeaked terribly, and breadcrumbs left on the table when we arrived. I assume those initial issues were mostly down to the house not being used much during the pandemic. It's a lovely place to stay with family in Port de Pollenca.

The villa has a lovely big outdoor space with a barbecue, and there's room for three cars in the garage. Plenty of towels were supplied for the pool and bathroom, and Cabot, the small hotel chain it belongs to, always had a professional contact person available. We had a wonderful time with friends, and the beach is only 100 metres away. The pool attendant and gardener came regularly, though the attendant came first and the gardener left weeds all over the pool. Water also drains poorly in the large shower, and the dishwasher doesn't clean well. None of that was a big deal for us, and we'd happily return.

The beach is just steps away, and the place is quiet. Having a pool and terrace made it ideal for a trip with friends.
