María's tips helped me explore the quiet rural valley near Ponferrada, and she gave me a five star welcome when I travelled solo. She's kind and attentive, made me feel at home, and made sure I had everything I needed. My room was cozy but spacious, with a balcony, a comfortable bed, and a good shower. Everything was spotless, and breakfast was rich and varied each day. I'd recommend it.

We spent a weekend at this family-run hotel in a small village near Ponferrada. It's a peaceful place to relax, with a cozy, comfortable room and a delicious breakfast served at your table. The owner is delightful and provides excellent, attentive service, with thoughtful touches like leaving a snack or tea in the evening. There are lots of things to see nearby, as well as a beautiful natural area for hiking. It's the kind of place you'd want to stay much longer, and we'll definitely return.

María was always happy to help, suggest routes, or just stop for a nice chat. The hotel itself is lovely, in a charming spot, and the breakfasts, cleanliness, and peace and quiet were all outstanding. Highly recommend it.
