The breakfast had plenty of variety, and the rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, a large shower, and a bright, pleasant balcony. It’s a very nice-looking hotel. You can rent beach towels, though the deposit has to be paid in cash. One helpful change would be adding VG, V, and GF labels to the breakfast items. We had to ask the staff about each one, and they didn’t know which options were vegan.

Lisa brought so much enthusiasm to the activities that everyone had the chance to join in. We tried stretching, water volleyball, aqua gym, and pool activities, and the evening also had bingo and karaoke. The rooms, food, and location were all great, and the staff made us feel welcome. Jonny deserves a special mention for being so helpful and providing first-class service. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We stayed for seven nights and would definitely consider coming back. The place felt like paradise.

Cala Marcal beach is beautiful and about a 15-minute walk away. Porto Colom is also an easy walk, with lots of lovely restaurants to choose from, especially S'Arenal Portocolom. The location worked really well for us. Our junior suite was spotless, with a lounge area, a bedroom, a great walk-in shower, and two balconies overlooking one of the two lovely pools. There was a great choice of food, and the facilities throughout were very clean. The staff were excellent, friendly, and polite. Thanks to everyone for a fabulous stay.

Lisa, the animator, was outstanding and full of energy. The restaurant staff and chefs were warm and helpful, and breakfast had pork salami and sausage, but no alternatives even after we asked. The safe in the room came with a daily charge, which didn’t seem right for a four-star hotel. The mini fridge didn’t work and seemed to be there for a minibar that wasn’t stocked or available, so it felt purely decorative. The blonde receptionist with glasses was a bit rude.
