The bed was lumpy, and the single pillow was razor-thin. Noise carried through the paper-thin walls at all hours, day and night. The room was filthy, with dusty curtains and chipped walls, and the staff seemed to show no care at all. I travel a lot, and this was one of my worst experiences, if not the worst.

The welcome was lovely, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room’s view was beautiful, though a few little touch-ups would help. It was basic but did the job for a night, and I slept well. The heater wasn’t working, but they quickly brought me a portable one. In the morning, though, my things and the room smelled strongly of fried food from the restaurant downstairs. It was Easter weekend, which may explain the price, but even so, I wouldn’t stay again at that rate. I would return for the view and warm welcome if the price were lower.

A spectacular view, and the owners had turned on the heater since it was a bit cold. We were there after the season and everything was fine. Good service and very nice people.

The scrambled eggs were inedible and swimming in oil, and €15 for them felt awful. The place was expensive too. Go to the cafe across the road!

In the off season, it had an old-school local feel. Charming, and everyone was very hospitable.
