Avoid this place. We booked a bungalow, but it had no curtains, and toilet paper kept being missing. The door also wouldn’t open properly. Whenever we asked for help, the response was really unfriendly. The people here are unfriendly, and the place is missing everything. Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Don’t go there!

The pitches are good, with some in a wooded area suitable for tents and camper vans, and the facilities are clean and well maintained. There’s a surf beach nearby, but no chemical toilet station. Watch for the sign if you’re coming from the north: miss the access road and you’ll have to double back, as there’s no other way in. The single track access road is passable with care, even in a 7m motorhome. If you’re unsure, park on the main road and walk to the site. The sign says 100m, though it’s more like 300m. Overall, a good site.

A fantastic, wild, pristine beach is just a five-minute walk away. The campsite itself is small and modest, with a restaurant and bar. There aren’t any bungalows, but you can rent rooms upstairs in the restaurant.

There’s a great running route along the boardwalk, and the place is right by the beach. Really good spot.
