The apartment was spotless, and having a balcony, kitchenette, and supplied beach umbrella was handy. But we were disappointed for what it cost, especially compared with some hotels. The photos make the room look much bigger than it is. With anything beyond carry-on bags, storage would be a problem. The bathroom had a horrible smell, presumably from the drains, and it often spread through the apartment even with the window open and door shut. The TV only had local Spanish channels, and the bright green emergency light by the door made it feel like we were sleeping with a light on. It was quiet at night, but cleaners started early and were noisy, so don't expect a lie-in. There was just one bin marked for organics, so we couldn't tell where other rubbish should go and used a carrier bag. Parking was difficult on the busy streets, and sometimes we drove around for about 20 minutes looking for a spot. There was no toaster or grill in the kitchenette. We wouldn't stay again.

The owners and housekeepers were so friendly, and the neighborhood was peaceful with lots of parking. Our place was clean when we arrived and had what we needed, including bath towels, soap, and dish soap. We enjoyed our few days in Portocolom and were happy with the accommodation. If you're nearby, don't miss La PaSaDa restaurant.

At least you can see the sea, but it was poor value for money. The wide-angle photos are very flattering, the beds were awful, with worn mattresses and damaged bases, and the terrace had just one broken armchair for two. We got no reply to our messages.

Maite looked after us so well! We had a fantastic few days in these apartments, in a peaceful area close to beautiful coves. The views were lovely, and everyone was friendly. Highly recommend for a few days on this wonderful island.
