Breakfast had plenty of options and a good amount of variety. It would help to mark items with VG, V, and GF labels, though, so guests don't have to ask about every product. The staff didn't know which things were vegan. The hotel looks very nice. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a large shower, and a bright balcony. Beach towels are available to rent, but the deposit has to be paid in cash.

We joined the activities during our seven nights, and Lisa ran them with real enthusiasm, making sure everyone could take part. There was stretching, water volleyball, aqua gym, and pool activities, plus evening bingo and karaoke. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Jonny deserves a special mention for being so helpful and providing first-class customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms, food, and location were great too. It felt like paradise, and we'll certainly consider coming back.

Cala Marcal beach is beautiful and about a 15-minute walk away. Porto Colom is an easy walk too, with lots of nice restaurants to choose from, especially S'Arenal Portocolom. We had a junior suite that was spotless, with a lounge, a bedroom, a great walk-in shower, and two balconies overlooking one of the excellent pools. There are two lovely pools, the food selection is great, and the facilities were spotless throughout. The hotel is superb, and the staff were excellent, friendly, and polite. Thanks to everyone, you were fabulous!

Lisa, the animator, was full of energy and outstanding, and the restaurant staff and chefs were warm and helpful. But the safe in the room came with a daily charge, which doesn't seem right for a 4-star hotel. The mini fridge didn't work and seemed to be there just for looks, since there was no minibar stocked or offered. The blonde receptionist with glasses was a bit rude. At breakfast, there was only pork salami and sausage, even though alternatives had been requested.
