A quiet part of town, with a spacious, nice room, comfortable beds, a great shower, and air conditioning that worked well. The hosts were friendly, too, so it was just right after a long day on the Camino. Don’t put too much stock in the bad reviews. They may be dealing with tired, grumpy pilgrims. Much respect to them.

From my first-floor room, I could watch the sunrise over the valley, which was a lovely way to start the day. The hotel sits on a slope, and it’s well placed, close to everything. My room and the shared area were very clean, and the woman who checked me in was so nice. I’d definitely recommend it and come back next time.

The double pension room turned out to be extremely comfortable, modern, and spacious, almost the size of a small apartment, though there’s no kitchen. The bed was good, and the staff were good too. Finding check-in was tricky because there’s no reception desk; you need to go to the bar downstairs. At first, I wasn’t convinced by the €90 price. My only reason for not giving five stars is that it cost more than I paid in Paris or Toledo.

We stayed one night. It was basic but fine for the low price, and the pilgrim menu at the cafe was okay. The room was noisy, though, with very thin walls. We could hear everything next door, and doors banging, people talking, and later some very loud snoring made it hard to sleep. I was glad to get back on the Camino the next day.
