Parking is available inside the hotel, and the hospitality was great. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay, respecting the guests' wishes and supporting us with everything. Royal Nayef sits in a calm area near Playa Canelas, with Portonovo center within walking distance. Our room was very clean, the beds were large and comfortable, and breakfast had lots of choice. Highly recommended.

Portonovo's local nightlife is nearby, and the beach is close too. The rooftop pool was amazing, and they brought cocktails up with a good choice of fruit. Those cost extra, but weren't very expensive. Breakfast was delicious, and the small number of rooms made the place feel personal and friendly. Staff remembered us and our room, and the food was great. It was an amazing stay for the price. I've paid more for hotels with more stars and had a worse experience.

We booked seven nights, then asked to change the stay to five. We called weeks in advance, but they wouldn't refund the difference, saying the seven-night booking had a discount unavailable for five nights. Yet Booking showed the same price for either length of stay. The beds could also be bigger. Service was good and it's a great hotel, but they could improve by not charging for a water bottle each day when the first night's bottle is complimentary.

From the penthouse there's a beautiful view, and the beach is easy to get to. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were more than kind, with excellent customer service. A no-brainer!

Breakfast was excellent, with continental options and a little hot food, so there was something for everybody. All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I'll definitely stay here again.
