Casa Manolín

Rocío was so kind and attentive during our stay, and the check-in and check-out times were flexible. The area was quiet, and Manolín's house was clean and conveniently placed near a supermarket, with easy access and the city center close by. We had a lovely weekend and will definitely return.

We weren't allowed to have anyone visit, even briefly during the day, and although there was a sofa bed, the owner said we couldn't use it when we arrived. The terrace was also off limits at night for just sitting and talking. Since the owner lives next door, he came out to watch what we were doing and tell us off whenever he thought we were making too much noise, whatever the time. There was also a problem with the pool: they came in to clean it without asking us or giving us notice, and it had a lot of algae. The listing said up to 10 guests, but a few days before our stay we were told the limit was 8, even though we'd told them months earlier that our group had 9. I expected better.

There’s plenty of space, with four bedrooms, a large kitchen, ample parking, and the comforts needed for a group of eight. The house also has a tennis court, pool, barbecue, fireplace, one bedroom with its own bathroom, and another bathroom. I’ve stayed here before, and it’s looking a bit run down now, so I can’t give it four stars, but it’s still a very nice place.

The large bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living room make this a good place to spend a few days with family or friends, in summer or winter. It’s a lovely country getaway, with scenic surroundings, a fireplace, pool, basketball court, and barbecue.
