The main reason we stayed here a few times was that they used to accept dogs. That was a real plus, even with the €15 per dog per day fee, which seemed excessive. The rooms are basic with just the essentials, and the small restaurant on site wasn’t very good. We put up with those drawbacks when the price was lower and there were few other dog-friendly options. Getting to the gondola or pistes from the top of the mountain is awkward. You have to drive or take a chairlift, which is a pain with all your gear. Now that they no longer accept pets, we won’t be back. It might still suit someone looking for a budget stay, but between the location and limited amenities, it’s hard for us to justify returning. Three stars, decent enough for a basic stay, with room to improve.

The ski station was closed, red alerts had been issued, and people were being advised not to travel. Even so, they wouldn’t consider changing our stay dates. They just wanted to keep the deposit.

We were there for four nights. The heating worked really well, and the sunset view was the best part. The room, though, wasn’t properly clean: dust everywhere and cobwebs on the lamp. The coffee pot didn’t work properly either, and the towels were stained, so I was glad I’d brought my own. There’s no hairdryer, so bring one, and the Wi-Fi only works now and then.

This place needs urgent renovation. There were exposed electrical wires in the bathroom, the toilet wasn’t properly fixed to the floor, some furniture was broken, and black mold was widespread. I think the authorities should close it over health and safety concerns.
