The receptionist was lovely, friendly, and helpful, and the apartment came with a well-equipped kitchen and a full bathroom with a big bathtub. Private parking is available, and we paid €34 for three days. I’d recommend it. The sofa bed was unbelievably uncomfortable. The location is good, but with three small children like I had, you’ll be carrying them up and down stairs all the time.

We only asked to change the date or get part of the money back after cancelling the excursion. Instead, they kept €9,000 from the students and told us, “You made that decision, so you lose the money and tough luck.” This involved 85 minors due to travel by bus to Pradollano during an orange alert for winds over 100 km/h from Storm Kristin. The accommodation took no responsibility and didn’t seem to care what might happen to them. BEWARE WHEN CANCELLING YOUR RESERVATION. I’m giving one star because zero isn’t an option. Consider yourself warned if you’re thinking of booking here.

Getting into the building was the worst part. Snow piled up over two meters deep at the entrance, and no one cleared it, making it difficult and dangerous to get in or out. When it rained, the snow melted and flooded the lobby, and we didn’t see anyone do anything about it. Inside, the apartment felt poorly maintained and wasn’t clean when we arrived. It was far too small for the stated capacity, with one window and an awkward layout. The wardrobe nearly blocked the bunk bed ladder, making it risky to climb. The sofa bed was also awful, with its metal frame clearly felt through it, so sleeping well was impossible. At this price, the furniture should be in better shape. We thought the value for money was very poor. The lack of upkeep, cleanliness, and organization made the stay uncomfortable. We wouldn’t return or recommend it. Our experience at Sabica Nevada was very disappointing.

Check-in was at 5:00 PM, but when we got there at 7:30 PM and used the access codes, the key box was empty. We called and were told they were very busy, so we’d have to walk up to reception for the key or wait. At 7:30 PM! Awful. I’ll never come back, and if you’re considering booking here, save yourself the hassle.
