A great trip for families with kids, and a must-visit with children. Get your snow clothes where you start your journey, since they can be expensive at the resort.

The apartment was in really poor shape, with none of the basic things we needed for cleaning or cooking. For two days we ended up using our own towels to mop the floor. When we politely asked for a cloth and a scouring pad, the receptionist brought only the pad and made a point of saying he had paid for it himself, as if that mattered to us. His attitude was the worst part. He was rude and disrespectful, raised his voice at us, and even threatened to keep our deposit for no reason. A very bad experience in these Sierra Nevada apartments. Not a place I’d recommend, with obvious shortcomings, some more visible than others.
