The owners were average, and we did get our deposit back after leaving the apartment. It could use more cleaning and a bit of maintenance, but for the price the value isn’t bad. I’d recommend it.

Those huge windows taking up the whole wall gave us unbeatable views. The apartment was new, with updated bathrooms and floors, and had everything we needed, including kitchenware, blankets and a TV. The kitchen was small but well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. I brought my own sheets. Coral was friendly and always reachable. I loved the stay, and I’ll be back next year with Carlos, my partner. We were there from December 28th to March 2nd.

We paid Booking.com for two nights two weeks ahead, but ended up stranded outside with our two small children. We couldn't make the first night, which I understand losing, but when we arrived at 2:00 PM for the second night, the apartment had already been rented to someone else. Nobody had called to check whether we were coming. The road had kept us from arriving earlier, and 2:00 PM was a reasonable time. Leaving paying guests without anywhere to stay was irresponsible and poor treatment. Finding another hotel that night cost me twice as much, and the money was wasted.

Hello, I’m Naiara. Mercedes was lovely and helped us sort out a flexible stay for me and my partner in Sierra Nevada. I wasn’t sure how many nights work would allow, so she said she wouldn’t charge for the final day until I confirmed. If I paid for it, she’d hold it for us or refund me. I booked two nights, and she offered the same price if we stayed an extra night on those dates. She took note of what we needed and was very kind. I’d looked at several places and prices, then checked the reviews and found so many awful ones that it seemed there’d be no decent apartment in Sierra Nevada. One woman’s review felt especially over the top, so I decided to call. I told Mercedes I was unsure after reading the reviews. She said it’s better to call and talk directly to the person when booking, explaining what you need, instead of relying only on an intermediary. Sometimes intermediaries make things easier, but they charge us and cancellations can cost money, so it pays to be careful. It can be harder when you don't speak face to face, and extras may cost more because of their commission. I’m not trying to bad-mouth them, just suggesting that people consider calling and speaking more directly instead of doing everything online. Best wishes.
