We couldn't reserve parking at the hotel, so parking in the local car park cost 26€ a day. We had to haul our bags and kids up the two huge flights of steps to the main square. They might at least have let us unload at the garage first. The location is good, though. Inside, the apartment was incredibly basic and run down, worse than nicer youth hostels I’ve stayed in. There was OSB Wood "pannelling" on the wall, probably covering old damage. The dining table was burnt, the hob dirty, cutlery unclean, and there were only three cups for four people. All the beds were singles, including one set of bunks. The floor was absolutely filthy, especially in the corners and the bottom of the cupboard. Floor tiles seemed to have been broken and patched with tile edging pieces. The cleaners told us to clean before leaving, which was cheeky when it looked like nobody had cleaned before we arrived. The receptionist was nice and helped when a heater didn't work. It was noisy through the night with banging and water sounds. There was a broken bathroom shelf, a damp patch on the ceiling that was falling in, cracks down the wall, a fridge that froze the milk, and no hall lights. Filthy, did I mention that? Best suited to teens coming just for the apres.

The noise was the worst part. People yelled in the corridors, rooms, and street all night, with awful sound insulation and no respect from other guests. I was absolutely mad about the experience. If you need to get any rest, stay away. The staff were friendly and the location was fine, but the rooms were honestly really bad. There wasn't even a sharp knife for food, the plates were poorly washed, and the coffee machine made awful coffee, among other things.

Our room had amazing views, and the apartment was spacious with its own parking in the building. The shower had decent temperature and pressure. It’s a good deal for the price, in a really good location, just 5-10 minutes from the town centre. The walls could use some paint, but the place does the job as somewhere to sleep and relax.

There was no soap or shampoo, and I was too wary of the utensils to use them for breakfast in a place that felt so unhygienic. The shower was cheap wood paneling and already molding from the moisture. A hand towel had brown stains, so I put it on the shower floor to avoid stepping directly on the dirty surface. The sheets seemed clean, though I found a long black hair in my bed. The dark blue blankets had several suspicious white marks and clearly hadn't been cleaned. When we asked for clean ones, they handed us something that looked like a tablecloth. The room looked like plywood walls and furniture made from particle board. They hadn’t turned the heat on before we arrived, so I had to keep my snow pants on for the first hour. It felt like staying in a stable with Mary and Joseph. This was a sad, sad stay. I cried.

The kitchen wasn't well stocked, and we had to ask for a large pot and lids. Staff were very helpful when we requested them. The location is good, close to the ski lifts and with easy access to the town centre.
