Max greeted us with hot chocolate and showed us the ski locker. He also parked our car in front of the Yeti and dug it out after a huge dump of snow buried it. Despite the name 'Hostal', this is really a cozy chalet with ski-in, ski-out access. It's 50 meters from the intermediate stop of the Parador chairlift and 100 yards from the Meribel piste. The rooms are small and basic, but spotless and have plenty of storage. Breakfast in the lounge is continental, plentiful, and a nice way to spend time together.

The location and service are OK. Rooms are pretty small and very basic, and breakfast is simple, with cheese, ham, milk, coffee, chocolate, cereals, pastries, and juice.

The rooms are warm, private, and there's free Wi-Fi. The staff are friendly, parking is on site but limited, and the hotel is close to the lifts. Get to breakfast early, as other guests tend to clear it out. I had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi because the passwords in the room hadn't been updated. Just ask reception for the current one. Parking is limited too, so arriving early helps there as well.

The staff are super friendly. Yeti is the place to stay at the ski resort, you don't need anything more. I'll be back next time for my skiing.

I booked a room, but couldn't get to the hotel at night because the drive there is difficult. They didn't refund my money.
