The apartment itself wasn’t bad, though it had no freezer, but the key details about it felt misleading. The terrace railing wasn’t secured to the ground. Lean on it and you could end up eight floors below. I can’t imagine that’s legal. The place is at the foot of a RED slope, and getting down can be difficult. Beginners could find it terrifying, so that should be made clear before describing the apartment’s amenities. As for the location, don’t expect to be at the centre in five minutes. It’s a steep 15-minute walk, with 300 stairs to go up and down several times a day for the supermarket, square, bars, or just getting out if you aren’t skiing. We checked this in advance because an 85-year-old woman was with us and couldn’t ski. They said it wouldn’t be a problem, so they lied. Getting to the apartment takes three elevators. There are lots of floors and multiple letters on each one, and not every elevator goes to your apartment. With all the ski luggage, loading and unloading can easily take 20 minutes. The deluxe apartment also wasn’t worth the price.

Worst apartment I’ve ever rented. The flat itself was a mess: loose, broken electrical outlets, holey towels and lamps nearly falling off their hinges. On top of that, the receptionist at the key desk seemed angry and was about as unpleasant as could be. A disgrace.
One of the people in our rental group unexpectedly sprained an ankle, but they wouldn’t cancel or move our reservation. Their response was simply that the injured person shouldn’t come. The person who answered the phone had a terrible attitude and no empathy.
The views are unbeatable, and the owner was friendly and polite. The apartment is very nice, and I’d book through the same place next time. It has one bedroom with a double bed, another with two bunk beds, a bathroom and an open-plan kitchen and living room. The bathroom heating didn’t work, although it did in the bedrooms. The stove has two burners, there’s no dishwasher, and the fridge has no freezer section. The sofa bed is in the living room. The TV turns on, but you can’t change channels or adjust the volume, and the remote only had batteries. The apartment is away from the city centre’s bustle and is well soundproofed. On arrival, you call the owner and leave your car outside while going up to the apartment. He explains what to do clearly. You unlock the door using an app he asks you to download, then collect the garage keys and the key for a gate above the spot where you left the car. The garage is roomy: we parked our 7-seater Seat Tarraco without trouble.
The parking space was a highlight, and everything else was generally fine and quite modern. The room is small for four, with one bed and a very uncomfortable sofa bed.
