The beds and pillows were super comfortable, and the property itself is stunning. It’s a beautiful old building, though you can hear guests in adjoining rooms because there isn’t much soundproofing. I only saw the hosts at check-in and checkout. They weren’t particularly friendly and didn’t offer much information, so this suits you if you want a comfortable stay without much contact. The best restaurants are about a 10-minute taxi ride away, but taxis are hard to find and don’t run after 10 pm. The place has lots of potential, and the experience would have been better if the hosts had engaged with guests a bit more.

The hotel’s public spaces were amazing. I wanted to take photos of all of them. It’s a cozy place, and I’d definitely recommend it. I stayed for five nights in November and it was warm. The village on the hill feels authentic, with beautiful views and a couple of restaurants nearby.

Thank you, Can Casadella, for showing us Spain and Catalonia just as we’d imagined them from books: bright, sunny, and welcoming, lovingly tended by people who value both hard work and leisure. Your place feels like a masterpiece, the result of its creators’ diligence and talent.

The view from our room with a terrace was amazing, and the house has so much charm. The proprietors were kind too. We wish we’d had longer to enjoy it, but we’ll definitely return. What a fantastic find.

The rooms are tastefully furnished with antiques, without too many knickknacks. It’s an old country house in a large garden, with an amazing location and atmosphere.
