The chicken and pork were so tender they practically melted in your mouth. Dinner was wonderful, the service was warm and friendly, and we ended the evening with a brandy.

I’d eaten nothing better in Spain that month. Had lunch on a lovely old square. The food was simple, but clearly made with care.

There were four of us, and not one member of staff acknowledged us while we waited. Eventually I went over and asked a waiter if he could seat us. He just pushed past me without saying anything and went to speak to another table. I’ve never had an experience like that.

We had lunch as a group of six. The food was superb, and the little plaza is a fantastic spot. Staff were friendly and attentive.
