Las Nieves de Lillo

It was unbelievably quiet at night, 100/10 during our stay, with no noise apart from the rain. The campsite also has plenty of room for caravans and motorhomes, and the reception service was excellent. A really good campsite that I'd highly recommend.

The area around the campsite is fantastic for hiking, and I'd definitely come back for that. The campsite itself is fairly small and was quiet when we visited late in the season. The pitches feel a bit cramped and close together. The sanitary facilities are very old and in poor shape. You can't close the toilet doors, they're locked. The shower was a plus, though: nice and hot, and easy to adjust without a push button.

The bungalows had everything we needed for a few days in the snow, and the drive to San Isidro ski resort is short and much safer than coming from the Asturian side. We've stayed here several times over the last ski season. The service was fantastic, and they were very accommodating, even when we arrived extremely late on the first day. We'll definitely return!

We loved this campsite and will definitely come back. It's peaceful, with spacious pitches right by the river and a lovely swimming spot. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, and we could do laundry. They didn't charge us for our dog, either. The people were incredibly friendly, the price was good, and they even served us a delicious tasting menu at 5 pm, which we really appreciated. It's a 10-minute walk to an artisan bakery and grocery store, and there are also a pharmacy, an ATM, bars and restaurants nearby. The municipal pools are five minutes away on foot, next to a park with lots of shade.
