The beach and those peaceful views are only about 400m away, and the town is an easy 20-minute walk. There are great supermarkets and even a dedicated dog beach nearby. I stayed for a week and was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the area.

The pitches are grassy, so wet weather could be an issue. Otherwise, it’s well placed for both town and beaches, with reasonable prices and helpful staff. Check-in is through a machine; mine wouldn’t read a UK passport, though it does accept a European one.

Just 300m from lovely sandy beaches, in a beautiful area. I called to reserve, and we sorted things out over WhatsApp with a really friendly, helpful woman. The pitches are a good size, and you can choose one with or without electricity. Showers were clean, WiFi is free, though you’d need a booster for coverage across the whole site. A lovely little camper stop for the price.

The village and beach are both a short walk away, and Restaurant A de Rosa serves fantastic traditional seafood. We found this peaceful, safe, friendly place at a reasonable price, with full service. It’s just what campers travelling here in winter need. A top spot, simply beautiful.

We’d have stayed longer and gone for a walk along the coast if the day hadn’t been so drizzly. The aire has great facilities and was peaceful, apart from the cockerel.
