B&B El Jardín de Aes

The house is an old Indian house turned into a hotel, set in an unbeatable spot. We spent three days there in the last week of August, and the peace and setting were a real highlight. Everything else was good too: very clean, a good room and bathroom, a comfortable bed, lovely views, very good service, and a good breakfast. The garden by the main part of the house was very nice, though the area around the walking paths and pool was a little neglected. The pool was closed for repairs. Virginia, the owner, was excellent, friendly, and easy to talk to. A highly recommended place to switch off and enjoy the surroundings.

Virginia was a delight and took great care of us. The hotel felt welcoming, and our room was cozy and clean, with a super comfortable bed. We spent four days here and loved both the area and its location. Thanks so much, we’ll be back!

The lovely terrace with morning sun and the comfortable room made our three days there with my husband and young daughter really enjoyable. We loved it! Virginia and her colleague were attentive the whole time, and Virginia gave us helpful suggestions for lunch, breakfast, and places to visit nearby. We’re very grateful for their excellent service and will come back!

The peaceful setting was a real plus, and the owner was very attentive. When an unexpected guest turned up, she kindly went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable in the room. A few things could be better. The garden around the pool is neglected, and the pool shower doesn’t work. The owner lets a guard dog roam loose after guests have checked in at night, which can be a real nuisance if you’re out partying. Closing the front gate would have been enough. The access road to the hotel is dangerous. They’ve applied for permits for construction, but haven’t received them. I suppose the authorities will do nothing until there’s a tragedy. Still, the location is excellent for nearby attractions and beaches like Suances, Santander, Valdearenas, and Noja. We were a group of friends staying four days this week, and we’d recommend the place.
