The location was spot on, close to both the sea and the old town, and the place was clean. We were there with two infants, and the staff were helpful about arranging a baby cot. We never saw the cleaners, but they always gathered and rearranged our children’s things while making the beds, which was really cute. It’s not a luxury hotel, but the price seemed fair compared with nearby hotels. Breakfast was very basic and could be better, though at 4€ you get what you pay for. We enjoyed our stay.

The main drawback is the noise. The apartment is right next to hotel Be live Orotava, so there’s noise from there day and night. On weekends and during fiestas, music from nearby clubs and discos, people talking loudly late at night, and street concerts can carry on until 2-3am. Light sleepers should keep that in mind. We stayed in Ap. Alta for a month in summer and otherwise had no problems. The apartment was bright, fairly spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom had a hair dryer, plenty of towels, shower gel, and cleaning products. The kitchen could use some updates and more tools, plates, and cutlery, especially for a stay longer than a week if you plan to cook. There’s a large balcony for sitting out and enjoying the view or sunshine, plus a clean pool with enough sunbeds and umbrellas. Everything else went smoothly for us.

There’s its own parking, which is useful since finding a space nearby is almost impossible unless you use the very expensive shopping mall parking. We were here for a wedding nearby, and the location worked well for us, near the center. Staff were very kind, the rooms spacious, and everything was clean, so it was good value for this location. The building and furniture are quite old, and one of our windows had a small hole. Microwaves are badly needed. The pool is small and old, though clean. Larger cars can’t use the lower parking lot, so if you have a big car, tell them ahead and reserve a space in the upper lot.

Reception staff were really friendly and helpful, and the cleaners did a good job. Rooms were as clean as they could be, and towels were changed daily unless you asked them not to. There’s a basic kitchenette with utensils, a frying pan, cooking pot, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine. The hotel is about 100 yards from the nearest beach, with plenty of cafes and restaurants around. Underground parking costs 7€ a day, and there’s a safe in every room for 2€ a day. The furniture and fixtures are obsolete and worn, and the hotel has seen better days. Still, if you want somewhere cheap and only need a place to sleep, it does the job. I had a positive experience and would book again.
