Apartamentos Tigaiga Suites

We enjoyed the good breakfast buffet and the dining was very good quality, well served and good value. The rooms were well serviced, and the setting was quiet, close to the park. It’s also well placed for the town center, and we used the local buses a lot. Reception was excellent, helpful and prompt.

The food at Tinguaro restaurant was a letdown. We thought it was mediocre on our last visit, but gave it another try this time in case it had improved. Sadly, it hadn’t. This was our second stay at Tigaiga Suites. As before, the apartment was clean and well equipped, but apartment #16 looked a little worn in places, so we didn’t rate it as highly as last year. The washbasins drained slowly and the drains gurgled; part of the bathroom skirting board was broken, and the kitchen worktop was lifting at a seam. The TV took constant fiddling to work. These are small issues, but we felt they were worth mentioning given the much higher standard we experienced last year. More English-language channels would also be welcome.

The pool area was peaceful, with a little waterfall in the well-kept tropical garden. We had a lovely, spacious apartment with a terrace and views. The staff were the friendliest and most welcoming we’ve ever come across. We’ll definitely be back.

We had plenty of space in our clean room and a great view of both the sea and mountains. The kitchen had lots of cookware and utensils, so we could make our own meals. Breakfast was good, with lots of choice, and the staff were friendly. The apartments were clean and tidy.
