The staff were attentive and exceptionally friendly, and the hotel is in a great location. I enjoyed the extensive, high-quality breakfast and cocktail bar, along with the various restaurants in the complex. The interior is beautiful, blending Western standards with Asian influences. There’s a spa with pools and saunas, lots of massage options, and fitness and yoga areas. The gym equipment is well above what you usually find, though a few additions would help cover all the main muscle groups. I particularly missed a pull-up bar, but still really enjoyed working out there. Tenerife has so much variety, yet you could easily spend your whole holiday at this hotel.

We loved our first visit, especially the location and scenery, and would recommend staying here. The staff made the experience: Omar welcomed us at the door and showed us to our room, Manuel at reception arranged a last-minute star-gazing excursion, and Antonio helped with our luggage and greeted us warmly. At breakfast, a staff member welcomed us by surname instead of asking for our room number. We also got a laugh out of the evening chocolates. That kind of hospitality really stands out.

It’s a beautiful, expensive hotel, but we would never stay again. The room felt like a sauna because we couldn’t use the air conditioning to cool it. The information in the room called it a quiet, easy-to-use, state-of-the-art system with digital temperature control, but in winter it was set to heat only. We wanted 18°C, and it was impossible to get the room below 22°C. Staff suggested opening the balcony doors, but that didn’t help either. We slept badly for a whole week. So much for state-of-the-art.

The hotel has lovely art and statues along the halls, plus an indoor bird garden that was a treat to look at. There are three restaurants in the hotel and a nearby Michelin-starred restaurant with shuttle access, and there’s a golf course too. The atmosphere is relaxed and close to nature, and the staff are very friendly. Definitely recommend it.

The hotel is beautiful, with a luxurious, relaxing feel as soon as you walk in. My husband gave me the Day Spa + Ritual experience for Valentine’s Day, and I was excited to try it. The therapist was friendly, but chewed gum for the entire treatment. I find chewing sounds really distracting, so it was hard to relax. In a five-star spa, I expected more professionalism and attention to detail. The end of the visit was even worse. While I was putting my robe back on after the treatment, the therapist left the door wide open, and a man outside could see straight into the room. I felt exposed, embarrassed, and upset. That moment overshadowed what should have been a special, calming gift.
