Playa Jardín has a special, beautiful feel with its volcanic sand and palms that give plenty of natural shade. The facilities are impressive, with clean, comfortable restrooms and large changing rooms. The sea was too rough for us to swim, and the way into the water is rocky, so bring protective footwear. The nearby botanical garden is lovely too, especially the cacti and flowers, with Monarch butterflies as a nice bonus.

The black sand beach was beautiful and a long walk from my hotel, but absolutely worth it. There's parking nearby, though I'm not sure if you have to pay. Someone was playing music nearby, which made the beach feel even more peaceful. The waves can get choppy near the beach.

It was a beautiful ocean view, but the beach was closed when we visited because of the big waves. Almost all the beaches were closed during our time in Tenerife due to the high waves, so I'd check online information or reviews ahead to make sure the beach you want is open. 😊😊

A beautiful beach with lovely gray-black sand 😻🏝️. I'd like to see more flowers 🌺, but it's autumn already, so it's okay for now.

A nice black volcanic-sand beach close to the center of Puerto de la Cruz, with facilities and a restaurant. I had a great swim during the day and enjoyed a lovely sunset there, with a nice view of the colored houses.
