Apartamentos Corona Mar

This was our first visit to Lanzarote, following a friend's recommendation. We normally go to Tenerife, but we'll definitely be back. For us it's a 4.5, mainly because the apartment is only a few minutes' walk from the sea front strip, which is about a mile long. It's lovely, clean and well looked after, and there's enough in the kitchen to keep you happy. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. They even booked us a taxi one evening for Texas Rancho. There are some stairs when you arrive, which didn't bother us, though getting a suitcase up was a little tricky. My only criticism is that there are no sun umbrellas around the pool, so it gets rather hot. There's a shaded area, but it's not enough. A bar area for guests would also be an improvement. A great first experience in Lanzarote, thank you.

It's a gated community, so it feels safe, and the team were friendly. We were very happy here, and any requests we made were sorted quickly. The strip is just five minutes away. Rooms are spacious and clean, basic but with everything you need for a break. The pool is nice and there are plenty of sunbeds.

The apartment was a real gem, light, airy, comfortable and spacious. Corona Mar's staff were delightful, always smiling and very helpful. The location is ideal, with everything Carmen has to offer within easy reach.

We had such a lovely stay at Corona Mar over Christmas week last year. Our spotless apartment was on an upper floor, with a side view of the pool and sunshine on the balcony for most of the day. The staff were friendly and so helpful. Each morning, a gorgeous little furry friend would come sit with us on the balcony. We named him Bogart, then later found out she's actually a she. As animal lovers, that made us enjoy our stay even more. We loved it so much that we booked this morning to come back to Corona Mar this Christmas. Highly recommended, 5 stars!
