Apartamentos LIVVO Las Gaviotas

For the last two Augusts I’ve come here with my family, and we’ve always been given block 8 when we asked for it. Thanks for that! The apartments are lovely and spacious, with our own sunbeds in the garden area. Any problems have been sorted straight away, and the lady at the pool bar is lovely and polite. More of my family have visited since and will come again this year. I’ve booked another stay, see you in August x Donna.

We booked a Standard Plus one-bedroom-plus apartment through easyJet and stayed in block 7, a few minutes from reception. There’s a minibus if you need help getting there with your luggage. We arrived before check-in, but they let us leave our bags while the apartment was being prepared. The rooms were clean and spacious, with good storage, a decent patio, air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi and a few English TV channels. Housekeeping came five days that week, with towels changed twice. When the fridge had a problem, maintenance fixed it within 20 minutes of us reporting it at 9:30 pm. Reception and onsite maintenance are available 24/7. The pool and surrounding area were clean and well kept. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars and the beach are all within a five-minute walk, and there’s a good car-free promenade that stretches for miles in either direction. Our only tiny gripe was that our row was the one closest to the road.

The apartment had loads of space, which we appreciated, and there’s a nice pool outside. Its location is convenient too, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. On arrival, though, there was a strong smell of bleach and cleaning chemicals. We aired the rooms, but couldn’t get rid of it that first night, which made things less comfortable. The decor and furniture also felt dated, and some things looked worn or a little broken. A bit of updating and more attention to maintenance would improve the stay.

We loved how peaceful the area was while still having everything nearby. Restaurants offered lots of choice and tasty food, there were two supermarkets close by, and there was plenty of entertainment. The shop was exactly 19 footsteps away and the beach 25. Our two-bedroom apartment in block 1, apartment 5, was spacious, clean and well located. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, good outdoor space with our own furniture and loungers, and a small courtyard for drying washing. The bedrooms had air conditioning, which was very welcome during the heat wave. The staff were amazing, and the minibus brought our luggage to the door. The rooms were cleaned every day except Wednesday and Sunday, sheets were changed twice a week and towels every other day. We stayed in September 25, and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.
