Atlantis Las Lomas

We’ve just finished a seven-night stay and will book here again. The price is reasonable, and with the beach less than five minutes away, you don’t need much more when you’re out all day. It’s a perfect location: five minutes from the beach and under a minute from a supermarket. Our room overlooked the pool. The bathroom smelled a bit from the open drains in the shower and under the sink, probably made worse by the heat. That’s the one thing I’d change. The onsite restaurant and bar were excellent, with food and drinks open from 8:30 until late. Staff were friendly and spoke English. The room was cleaned five days a week, with the bedding changed once during our seven days. Reception was helpful, open 24 hours and great for ordering taxis.

If noisy families shouting and swimming at 1, 2 and 3 am, then getting up at 7 am to do it again, and disgusting rooms with no peace sound good to you, you’ll absolutely love these apartments. They’d serve the local community better if they were knocked down and turned into a car park.

We stayed for seven days as a group of eight. The apartments were roomy and had small kitchens. There are seven pools onsite; they aren’t heated, but they’re great for cooling off in the sun. The onsite restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can use one washing machine and tumble dryer, with tokens available from reception for a small fee. There’s a small supermarket across the road, or you can walk ten minutes to the seafront for a bigger shop. The beach is only a few minutes downhill, with plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops and bars to enjoy.

There are plenty of pools and sunbeds for enjoying the weather, and apartments to suit different family and group sizes. The pool bar has a range of food and drinks. It’s only a minute’s walk to the main strip, though the walk back takes a bit longer. Since these are apartments rather than a hotel, Wi-Fi isn’t included.
