I've been here lots of times and will be back again. It's a spotless place in a very quiet area, with a beautiful pool and a lovely poolside bar and restaurant. The staff and management are extremely kind and accommodating. Matagorda and its lovely beach strip are only a five-minute walk away, and it's a 20-minute walk to the main Porto de Carman strip. Taxis are very reasonable if you don't fancy walking, and the airport is just ten minutes away by taxi. Thank you to everyone at the Villa Canaima.

The complex is spotless and well maintained, with plenty of loungers and a good pool for cooling off. There's also a small cafe on site serving cocktails, beer, spirits and food, and it's very good. The villas are set back from the beach, shops and restaurants, but everything is only a short walk away, so the location works really well.

We'd definitely come back. Villa Canaima Apartments in Matagorda are great for a relaxing holiday in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, close to both the beach and restaurants.

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed, including good air conditioning. It's in a great spot near the bus stop, local shops and restaurants, and the beach. From the apartment we could see the lovely clean pool and the sea, plus planes taking off and landing. There are washing machines on site for an extra charge, and a little pool bar.

We've just come back from five nights in 'Ocean view' apartment 4, and really enjoyed our stay. We first visited Villa Canaima in 2000, when our oldest son was just under two. It's such a relaxing place, with no sunbed wars, superb views and wonderful, friendly service from all the staff. Getting a late checkout made the stay even better. It's a great spot for a short break and very close to the airport. The taxi cost less than €15. We loved watching the waves and the planes arriving at Arrecife airport. Looking forward to staying again.
