Apartamentos Almirante

We found the landlord very helpful, and someone was available if we'd needed help, though we had no problems. The apartment was well equipped and works for a small family. Renting it as tourists may have made things harder for locals in Puerto del Rosario. The terrace looks onto the concrete walls of neighboring houses. The location is quiet and not touristy, with nice restaurants nearby. Los Gallegos (the Galicians), right across the street, has fresh bread in the morning and good food through the day and evening. The apartment is not right in the center, but it isn't too far away. A pickup with luggage assistance costs €20, while a taxi from the airport costs the equivalent of €12 and taxis are readily available there.

The location was terrible, and a lot of things inside the apartment either didn't work or had been put together badly. The chairs were missing at first and had to be brought over. There were too few pots, pans, and pieces of cutlery. Water splashed out of the shower because there was no enclosure, and the tray wasn't sloped properly.

The bathroom smelled awful, the beds were really uncomfortable, and the fan didn't work. I didn't like the place at all.

A good spot for a few days or even a few weeks, with everything you need.
