Escalona is so peaceful, with those magical mountains right in front of you. Whenever I come to Huesca, this hostel is where I hide away for a few days. It’s not fancy, but it has what you need, and the beds are comfier than they look. The location is perfect. Love this place. Thank you!

Right next door there’s a restaurant with a terrace, serving sandwiches, tapas, combination plates, set menus, and more. The place itself doesn’t serve meals. It’s simple and no frills, but clean, comfortable, and quiet, with mountain views. The owner is lovely, and it makes an ideal base for exploring the area. Ainsa is 9 km away.

Spotless, affordable, and such a welcoming place with a lovely family. The service was great, and we’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again.

Everything was fine in cooler weather, but in summer the room gets like an oven. They don’t provide anything to cool it down, not even fans. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in summer.
