A simple, clean and friendly stopover on our way south. No breakfast, but there are good local cafes.

I couldn't recommend it.

The reception staff were the only good part. Management was appalling. The rooms were tiny, and tobacco smell had seeped into the walls so badly that I woke up smelling like an ashtray. I'm not after luxury, just a chance to rest. They offered to move me, but the other room was exactly the same, so I had to find another hotel. There was even a bat nest on the balcony. They refused to refund one night after I left for a nearby hotel, and I'd rather pay for two hotels than stay there. By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Everything was very clean and the customer service was really good. The mattresses were more comfortable than they looked. The showers were clean too, though the space is a bit tight for larger people.

For just one night's stay, the value was good. The receptionist gave excellent service, the room was impeccably clean, and the new owners or administrators clearly put in a remarkable effort to make the stay pleasant.
