Great place!

We booked three weeks ahead and left our bags when we arrived, but it was too early to get into the room. We had an excursion planned, so we agreed with the manager that we'd come back around 8:00 PM. When we returned, he said the room keys were lost and he couldn't give us another set. He suggested nearby hotels, supposedly better than his, that would take us for the same price. We were stunned. After we argued, he called several hotels and apparently found one nearby, but when we got there, there was no room for our group. At 9:00 PM we were left scrambling to find somewhere to stay. We were stressed and rushing to avoid being stranded, so we didn't think to ask for a complaint form, though he deserved one. This hostel/inn's management was disastrous and ruined our vacation. Places run like this shouldn't have a tourist license. I hope nobody else has to go through the same thing.

We'd stayed here three times before, when the quality seemed fair for the cheap price and central location. We booked again in March for what would have been our fourth visit, but in August they had given our room away. Instead, we were put on the fourth floor with no elevator, in a dirty, uncleaned room that smelled bad. There was a jar of jam and a knife on the nightstand, eggs in the second drawer, and a T-shirt on a hook. We had to share a bathroom, and someone surprised me while I was in there. The door wouldn't close either. The whole thing was shameful, and we had to find another hotel that night.

A terrible experience, in the shabbiest and most neglected place imaginable. There was no elevator, towels, or hairdryer, and I had to go looking for the receptionist at the nearest bar. If you want a bad time, you know where to go.
