The staff made us feel so welcome and seemed to take care of every detail. We also really enjoyed the reasonably priced dinner, followed by a lovely Spanish breakfast. Our family room at Hotel Cal Marçal was roomy and comfortable, and we had a great stay while travelling through Spain. We’d happily return.

The food was really good. We stopped in to eat on our way home, and the young waitress with glasses and braids was especially kind and helpful. My Catalan isn’t great, but she took the time to explain the menu in English, which I appreciated.

The food itself wasn’t bad, but the menu was overpriced for what it was, especially since you could make much better food at home. My vegan friend only had beans with potatoes, yet was charged the full menu price for a dish that costs practically nothing. They weren’t very nice to us either.

We’ve been coming here for breakfast three to five times a week for a couple of years. Two months ago, breakfast for the two of us was 18 euros; now it’s 30. We won’t be back.

Such a cool hotel, a great place to unwind during a trip. The food was delicious too, and the owners were really kind. It feels like the twin peaks of Espania. Great job, everyone.
