BeSlow Punta Umbría

The location is great, close to the beach, with easy free parking. For the price, you get what you pay for, so don't expect a Meliá hotel. The apartment is really only suitable for sleeping. The bathrooms look and feel like they're from the 70s, including the state of their upkeep. The kitchen is tiny, the bedrooms have none of the basics, and there's very little furniture. There's barely room for the washing machine and sink, which overflows. Hot water comes from gas canisters. Cleaning and maintenance were just adequate.

The beach views are excellent, and the apartment feels cozy if you're all staying together. With 11 of us, it didn't work as well. The shower is small, especially with cold water, and there's no oven. There is a duvet, which seems more suited to the very hot summers on the Iberian Peninsula. Still, all in all, it was a pleasant place.

Lovely views, and everything was clean and well looked after. The kitchen and bathroom were both very well equipped.

The view was the one good thing about this apartment. The furniture was in very poor shape, and the place badly needs renovation. Cleanliness was poor overall, and the small shower tray had no screen, which made it quite uncomfortable. The woman who handed over the keys was very nice.
