Casa Rural El Tendal by Isla Bonita

We didn't have a single problem with the house, and the owner was friendly and attentive to the little details. The location was peaceful, and the garden was amazing, full of plants and birds, a perfect place to relax. gracias por todo carlos !!

A great place for a couple to stay, and quite well equipped.

The welcome basket of fruit and wine is a lovely tradition, and the owner has been a warm, smiling and helpful host for the more than twenty years I’ve known him. Puntagorda has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, plus a great weekend farmers’ market with high-quality local produce. At El Tendal, I’ve stayed many times over the years. The house is comfortable, clean and homely, with traditional touches and a fireplace for winter. Outside, the beautiful garden has a pool and at least four seating spots, so you can pick sun or shade. The barbecue area is especially nice, with its own kitchen and crockery. If you’re after peace and beauty, it’s a lovely place to stay.

The garden and pool are kept immaculate, and the patio with its barbecue is beautiful. It’s a charming little house in Puntagorda, with every detail taken care of. The owners are so kind and welcoming, and Carlos makes everything easy. We had a happy holiday and honeymoon, and we’ll be back.
