Good price and lovely views. The old-fashioned houses are clean, though they smell like grandpa’s house. There are lots of aunts and a few worms. It’s a bit cold up in the mountains. Anyway, recommended for a short stay only.

We felt so welcome, thanks to the very sweet housekeeping lady who greeted us. The villas are nice little rural buildings with plenty of room and everything needed for a wonderful stay, including appliances, a terrace and an outdoor kitchen. Awesome place, don’t hesitate to book!

The casitas are spacious, with everything needed for cooking and cleaning in both the indoor and outdoor kitchens. The gardens are beautiful and well tended. Marisol is a very sweet, caring hostess.

The centipedes keep getting into the house, which could be a problem if bugs creep you out. Apart from that, everything was 10/10. It’s clean and well kept, with all the utilities you’d expect at home. The hosts were helpful without getting in the way. I’d definitely recommend Casas Rurales Los Marantes as a lovely base for exploring the eastern and northern parts of the island.

We’ve stayed twice already, and a third visit is a sure thing. It’s a peaceful retreat surrounded by La Palma’s beautiful nature. The hostess gave us a very warm welcome, and the apartments are simple but more than adequate.
