There's a supermarket 800m away, and simple food is available locally. The room was cheap and clean. Parking includes a sheltered area for a few cars, plus plenty of on-road spaces. It's a 10k walk to the mirador.

Hostal el Caminero turned a stressful situation into a wonderful vacation. Four days before our trip, I called Thor's Caves to check if someone would be there to host us. I was told it had been given to another group and that I should cancel before Booking.com charged me, since they had no cave for us. We'd booked in November, so that was a real disappointment. Luckily, the owner at Hostal el Caminero was lovely and super friendly, and found us a room. We ended up meeting a wonderful person and having a great vacation. Thank you so much, you saved our trip! The hostel is right on the main street, close enough to walk anywhere in town. Three restaurants and a pub are just two minutes away, though the area itself isn't hectic. Our room had everything we needed, was very clean, and had heating and air conditioning. The beds were so comfortable that we slept like logs. The service was charming and helpful, and she treated us like she'd known us all our lives. The price was unbeatable. We'd love to return soon, definitely to Hostal El Caminero. The staff were attentive and friendly, and I loved the hostel. Our room was cozy, with heating, which matters a lot at this time of year. The bed was comfortable too.
