Sant Pere Apartment

The people we dealt with were kind, which was the one good thing. The room itself was basic but ok, with a shared kitchen. There wasn't enough hot water for even one person, and the neighbours on the second floor, who apparently live there, were so noisy we couldn't get a good rest. The facilities need to improve.

The bathroom had a leak, and the shower was coming away from the wall. The kitchen cupboard doors wouldn't close.

My boyfriend and I had been looking forward to spending the weekend here, but we were shocked when we arrived. The cleanliness was appalling: the bedroom and bathroom were dirty, as were the sink, drawers and fridge. The pans and pots still had food stuck to them. It was clear they hadn't even wiped the place down after the last guests left, they only made the bed. The balcony terrace could have been lovely, but it was depressing, with a sticky floor, beach sand and a dirty towel from the previous guests hanging on the rack, as well as an ashtray full of cigarette butts. I wish I could give this apartment zero stars. Stay away!

At check-in, we found the door closed, and the hostess didn't keep her promises about clean sheets or being there. The seating area had no sofas, just beds, so comfortable sitting wasn't possible. In the kitchen, the cupboards hung crooked, everything was dirty and very sparse, and we had to wash it all ourselves. The outlets and washing machine didn't work. Some lights were broken, while others were far too bright. In the bedroom, the air conditioning was so noisy it disturbed our sleep, and there were damp smells and leak stains on the ceiling and walls. The bathroom was dirty, the ventilation didn't work, the old shower was broken and rickety, and there was a hole in the ceiling. A huge disappointment, and we left early.
