The place had everything I needed as a peregrino: lockers, a working washing machine, a hot shower with strong pressure, and a handy location for groceries or dinner. It was clean, and I slept very well. It felt more like a business than a memorable or spiritual Camino stay, though, and there wasn’t anything special about it. The bunk curtain rod fell while people were asleep because the tape wasn’t holding, making a scary noise, lol. And a note for peregrinos: please don’t eat in your bed or put your backpack on it, since that attracts bugs. The host had flyers about it, but many pilgrims ignored them. It’s really important to use the lockers provided so we can prevent bugs.

I found bedbugs (chinches) in my bed. The hostel is actually very nice, and the lady was friendly and offered a refund, so I went somewhere else. But it wasn’t clean: there was dust, dirt, and spiderwebs under the beds, and the mattress covers were torn. That’s an ideal place for bedbugs. At many other albergues, even much bigger ones, they lift all the mattresses every day, then clean and disinfect everything. Here they said they didn’t have time, and this is the result ;-(

Our host was lovely, and the place is just a few minutes from the local parks. The pilgrim rooms and beds were modern and very tidy, with separate bathrooms for women and men. The bunk beds were decent. Great place.

The hostel was full, with mixed bunks, and some guests snored loudly, though that’s not the hostel’s fault. Each bed had a socket, a light, and a privacy curtain. Everything was very clean, and the bathrooms were great, with separate facilities for men and women, which was handy for changing.

There are little balconies where clothes dry super fast. The Froiz Grocery store is about 5-10 min away. The bathroom was nice, and the small kitchen was clean. Each bunk had a comfy mattress, a clean fitted sheet, a pillow, and a privacy curtain.
