Cabogata Garden & Cabogata Mar Garden

The buffet was so badly laid out that I spent ages looking for ingredients, and after the second day I stopped bothering with breakfast, even though the choice was extensive. The food was poor and overpriced. It’s a huge international-class hotel, but the place felt sterile. It sits in a large urbanisation and golf complex, and I wouldn’t go back.

The rooms and grounds are modern and super clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great stay last week and would like to return. The tapas bar opened for the season at the end of the week and had nice drinks. Since weekends are usually fully booked, we struggled to get a sunbed on Saturday. We mentioned it at reception and talked it over briefly, then the hotel brought out more beds. With a pool area they advertise, they need to add a lot more so everyone can get one. Breakfast included fresh fruit, lots of cereals, cooked eggs and vegetables, and various cheeses and cuts of meat. We would have preferred freshly pressed juice to suit a five-star hotel better, and a wider bread selection. Mostly toast and white bread were served.

I didn’t expect this place to be so good, so it was a pleasant surprise. The woman at check-in upgraded us to a presidential suite, and it was amazing. For the quality of the stay and service, the prices were very economical. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Almeria.

My wonderful boyfriend surprised me by booking our second stay here. I adore the hotel and relax as soon as I walk in. Our room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We went back to a lovely Italian restaurant for the second time, then had a great breakfast the next morning. There was a wide selection, everything was hot and tasty, and it kept being replenished while we were there. Loved the stay. Hasta pronto. ♥️
