Apartamentos Monte Hernanz

We were there a few months back, two adults and two kids. The place was clean and lovely, the staff were really friendly, and the garage was a plus. It also stays warm in cold weather. My only small gripe is that a coffee machine, snacks, and water would be useful. I think there used to be some in a lounge, but it was always locked. Otherwise, we had a great time and will definitely come back. It's a lovely, quiet town.

The receptionist was excellent, and the prices were very competitive. Our room was perfect, and we enjoyed the communal pool. A great spot for spending a few days in Riaza.

Parking was included in the price, and the apartments were clean and conveniently located. We had a great few days there and will definitely return.

Sandra has always treated us wonderfully, and we've never run into any problems across our four or five stays in the two-bedroom duplexes. They're comfortable and have great views. Riaza also has plenty of restaurants, hiking trails, bike rentals, supermarkets, and more. The pool is where things fall short. The ground floor owners claim the lawn as their own, and their dogs and friends take over the pool too. They jump in and splash people, play with balls, and argue about their swim caps instead of wearing them. On top of ignoring basic shared-space rules, very few people shower before swimming. It's a shame nobody seems to control this. We want a calm place to enjoy with our children, and shouldn't have to put up with such badly behaved brats. The pool is indoors but not heated, so I don't understand people expecting to use it in winter. It's a summer pool. The chipped paint and tiles should be repaired too, since it's dangerous.
