The rooms were the highlight for me: they’re lovely and modern, with windows facing two or three directions, while the outside keeps its classic rural Spanish look. The hotel is nicely placed between the mountains and the coast. There was some early back-and-forth about the room and the price, including being told there was no vacancy before one appeared when I persisted. Still, the family-run staff were kind and accommodating. I’d forgotten something there, and when I came back later, several people helped me and were very sweet. Breakfast costs extra but is affordable and does the job. Some days they serve proper homemade croissants, which was a nice touch.

The hosts made our stay especially lovely with how warm and welcoming they were. I have diabetes, so the buffet breakfast didn’t suit me, and Adrian prepared a diabetes-friendly breakfast for me each day. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and quiet. Lovely people, a lovely place, and a great price. Highly recommended.
