A handy place to stop, use the restroom and freshen up on a road trip. I pulled in on my way from Barcelona to Empuriabrava for a coffee. It was lunchtime and there were plenty of diners, but the restaurant didn't feel hectic. The restrooms, café and reception were spotless, and the reception staff understood English. Right by a roundabout on the main road, with a large car park that could fit 50 cars or more.

We were a large group and the service was good. The staff were helpful, and they let me, though I don't speak Spanish, look over the wines before I chose a bottle. The paella was great and portions were generous. The prices came out higher than the menu had stated.

The dishes were all delicious, and there was a huge range to choose from. Service was excellent and the setting lovely. Just be careful how much you order, the servings are very generous!

The restaurant has a traditional feel and a visible history in the local area, and the food is good, traditional Catalan cooking. The portions are big, but the prices are still quite high. Menus cost over €40.

The place was spotless, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. The food was top class too, one of the best restaurants I've been to. Thanks to everyone. I'll drop in whenever I'm in the area.
