We didn’t try the hotel’s food. In town, we had a great meal at Onuba, about a 30 minute walk away, with a bus option or nearby parking. We also found a great breakfast spot nearby and Palmarium Rivas, a cheap filling station on the roundabout at the Via de Servicio-A3 entrance. The hotel is convenient for the metro line 9 station into Madrid, though we didn’t use it this time. We chose Sercotel for a stopover between Alicante and Santander, and it was easy to drive there and get back onto the Madrid ring road. A giant Carrefour shop is right beside it if you want to stock up on Spanish products. Parking can be a bit difficult because it’s so popular. The location was great, and the bed was comfortable.

The room was beautiful, spotless, and quiet, with excellent soundproofing. The bathroom was modern, spacious, and clearly well maintained. Breakfast was very good too, with a nice selection of quality products. Parking right at Sercotel Hotel made arrival and departure stress-free, and the hotel’s location near the highways was convenient for reaching places without dealing with city traffic. A comfortable stay with easy access and good parking. We’d choose it again.

There are essential services nearby, access and parking are convenient, and the staff were friendly. But even though it was practically summer in that part of Madrid, around 27ºC at the time, staff told us we couldn’t turn on the room AC because the building had a “standard” temperature. They said we could use the fan, but it doesn’t blow cold air, or open a window. We tried the window, and flies came in, so that wasn’t ideal.

We stayed one night before a morning flight from Madrid. Breakfast didn’t start until 8 am on the weekend, which is too late for people catching early flights. The room was hot with no air conditioning, so we slept with the window open beside a busy road. Noise and headlights flashed across the room all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The hallways were dark and poorly lit, and the old carpet was lumpy. There was no coffee maker or kettle in the room, and outlets were only available on one side of the bed.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were appealing and extremely comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
